Ali Booth Editorial Associate (Class of 2017) Is a English major concentrating in writing with minors in creative writing and magazine journalism. She is a staff writer for The Circle, a features writer for HerCampus, and has had two internships at O Magazine and TigerBeat Magazine. Ali also runs her own site, averagelyhonest.com. She hopes to work in the magazine industry post graduation and live in New York City. She recently completed a half-marathon and works on campus as a tour guide and student assistant in the Admissions Office. She is also an orientation leader for the Office of First Year Programs and teaches snowboarding to four and five year olds in the winter.

(Class of 2020) Is a freshman Communications in Journalism major with a minor in Political Science. She currently serves as the Lifestyles Editor of the Marist Circle and works as an intern for CollegeFashionista. Before attending Marist, she had served as the Editor in Chief of her high school in Cedar Grove, New Jersey’s, student newspaper and worked as a reporter for her town’s online official newspaper, TapInto Cedar Grove/Verona.

Alyssa Hurlburt Editorial Associate (Class of 2019) Is majoring in journalism and minoring in political science.  A student athlete, Alyssa is a member of Marist’s Cross Country and Track and Field teams. She is also a member of the Campus Ministry program. He wrote and took pictures for his high school paper, The Warrior, served as the director of photography for the yearbook, the vice president of the National Honors Society, the lead in Barefoot in the Park and Importance of Being Earnest and a member of the research team for his high school’s News and Views program. At Marist, Raphael works as an Operations Assistant for Athletics, a Technician for Student Activities and a Media Assistant for the Media Center. In addition to being a writer and photographer for The Circle, he is a member of the Marist Honors Program, MCTV, the Italian American Society, Campus Ministry and intramural dodgeball.

When she is not in school, Sarah spends her summers working as a counselor at a Girl Scout camp and going to the Jersey Shore. In her free time she enjoys reading, playing tennis, watching The Office and eating Taylor ham egg and cheese sandwiches. Though she is not sure yet what career path she wants to take, she plans on spending the rest of her life in a service profession.
